WELCOME TO BIRRIWA HOMESTEAD

The Birriwa Valley is renowned as ‘strong country’. It’s lands are flat, to gently sloping towards the Talbragar river. Birriwa Homestead soils are rich brown alluviums and clay loams. It has deep soils with good soil structure. The ph of the soils range from 4.8 to 6.  A crop fertigation process is practiced to protect against salinity and acidity. It introduces nutrients directly to the plant. Operating as an organic farm since 2000 it was certified as biodynamic/organic by ACO in 2020.
